The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce was pleased to hold a ribbon cutting on February 3, 2023, to announce the opening of Richardson Monument Company, Inc.’s new retail store, located at 115 Highland Street in the Shoreyville Plaza in East Rochester.
Richardson Monument Company, headquartered in South Portland, Maine, is a manufacturer that has been providing quality craftsmanship of granite monuments, cemetery gravestones, benches, signs, bronze markers, and plaques for over 80 years. The retail store offers various monuments to select from, and their software program develops a digital design of the stone in shape and color and engraving, based on what the customer selects. Customers are provided with the digital design to approve prior to engraving the stone so that no mistakes are made. Richardson Monument Company also ensures that the monument is delivered and installed to the specifications required by the cemetery of their choice.
