‘City reinventing itself’: A look inside Rochester’s Scenic Theater-Salinger development

The redevelopment of the Scenic Theater and the Salinger Block buildings by Chinburg Properties downtown is about one-third complete, according to Paul Goodwin, senior development manager. 

Once completed, the $8 million project, at 10-14 North Main St. will offer 50 residential units and two commercial spaces, according to Goodwin.

“We are on track to finish by the end of the year,” said Goodwin. “We are excited to be saving two historic buildings in the downtown.”
