Community mourns 2 Rochester men killed in Dover Sixth Street crash

The community is mourning the two Rochester men killed in Thursday’s fatal car accident on Sixth Street in Dover.

A candlelight vigil was held Thursday evening at the site of the crash for 32-year-old Joseph Bougie and 22-year-old Michael “Mike” Murphy.

At 12:25 a.m., an on-duty Dover police officer found a BMW sedan had struck a utility pole and was engulfed in flames. The two men were deceased at the scene of the crash on Sixth Street near Long Hill Road, police said.
