On April 11th, the CTE (Career Technical Education) Ambassadors from the R.W. Creteau Regional Technology Center brought an exciting career exploration event to the Rochester Middle School. The event, designed specifically for 6th and 7th graders, aimed to spark interest and curiosity about various career pathways among the young students.
Throughout the event, 6th and 7th graders engaged in discussions, asked questions, and interacted with high school students who shared their expertise in their respective fields. This interactive approach not only informed students about diverse career opportunities but also encouraged them to explore their interests and passions early on.
“Our ambassadors did a great job sharing their passion for the programs they represent,” said CTE Ambassador Advisor Patrice Hunt. “I think lots of the middle school students walked away with ideas about careers they might want to explore in their future!”
Such initiatives play a crucial role in inspiring and motivating students to pursue their dreams with determination and purpose. By bridging the gap between middle schoolers and potential career paths, the CTE Ambassadors are paving the way for a brighter future for these aspiring professionals. This event marks the beginning of an exciting journey of exploration and discovery for Rochester’s young talents.
