Drive-in movies are great family fun, and at The Ridge shopping plaza, they are also shown for a good cause.
For the second summer, Waterstone Properties Group, with the support of businesses at The Ridge development on Farmington Road, will offer Sunday night drive-in movies. Each family-friendly movie will be shown weather permitting, preceded by music and activities.
Space is limited and the cost is $30 per carload, which can include up to eight people. During the event, shops at The Ridge will offer specials and discounts.
The first movie, on Sunday, July 18, will be “Grease,” held over from last Sunday, the intended first date, called off because of rain.
