The family of Mat Lefebvre, 36, the Rochester man struck early Monday morning by an unidentified hit-and-run driver, is speaking out, hoping someone can help to identify the person responsible for the extensive injuries he suffered while jogging.
Lefebvre’s wife, Nicole, and his cousin, also named Nicky (also Nicole), hope by telling their story, a witness or someone with information will help lead Rochester police to the driver they are seeking.
“I don’t know how this person can sleep at night, without hearing Mat’s scream, because he remembers everything and he did scream,” his wife Nicole said. “Today (Wednesday) has been the best day so far. He is more conscious and aware. Talking is hard. He has severe trauma to his abdomen.”
