Nighttime Paving on Exits 14-16 on Route 16 in Rochester, Detours and lane shifts starting 6/26

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will be closing the Exit 14 ramps on Route 16 and detouring traffic in Rochester starting on Monday night, June 26, 2023, for paving and striping operations. Work on Exits 15 and 16 will begin after the Fourth of July holiday.

Weather permitting the work will require three weeks to complete. Shifts will begin at 9:00 pm and end at 5:00 am.

Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to direct and inform local traffic. Motorists are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic-related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

Brox Industries of Dracut Massachusetts is the general contractor for the $3,092,000 project, which has a completion date of September 22, 2023.
