Rochester revitalization: Historic Scenic Theater, Salinger Block buildings transformed

Renters will soon be moving into 50 new apartments at the historic Scenic Theater and Salinger Block buildings, which have been given new life through a major redevelopment project.

City officials received a tour of the $8 million Chinburg Properties project at 10-14 North Main St., part of what leaders see as part of a vision for revitalization of the city’s downtown.

Paul Goodwin, project manager for the developers, said Chinburg is in talks with people interested in the two available commercial spaces in the mixed-use development. Both are food related.
