Rochester woman, 40, drowns in Salmon Falls River incident. Chief issues call for safety.

ROCHESTER — A 40-year-old woman has died after drowning in the Salmon Falls River, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Police have identified the woman as Rochester resident Doreen Allen.
