The Ridge phase 2 in Rochester: Apartments, cinema, restaurants, breweries envisioned

A vision that includes 200-plus apartments and venues for eating, drinking, entertainment and recreation has been unveiled for the long-awaited phase 2 of The Ridge development.

A Waterstone Properties official addressed the City Council Tuesday, laying out a proposal for that features a movie theater, breweries and restaurants, as well as possibly a bank, skating rink, electric car charging stations, green space, trails and a dog park.

The council in July approved a zoning change to allow for residential development at the Route 11 (Farmington Road) property.
