The Rochester Senior Activity Center recently welcomed a special guest to its weekly bingo program: a member of the 2004 U.S. Olympic swimming team.

According to a social media post, participants enjoyed a memorable afternoon of Bingo as Olympic gold medalist and Rochester Recreation and Arena Advisory Commission member Rhi Jeffrey joined as a celebrity caller. Jeffrey “brought incredible energy, charisma, and a little bit of magic that made Bingo extra fun for everyone,” even allowing attendees to see and hold her gold medal.

The Recreation Department extends its appreciation to Jeffrey for helping create a fun and engaging experience for participants.

Bingo for Adults is held every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Community Room at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, 150 Wakefield Street. The program is open to all participants (aged 55+), with cards available for $0.50 each.
