Vouchers for Veterans encourage community members to “Put Heroism on Display”

On Memorial Day weekend, Vouchers for Veterans will be sponsoring a Field of Honor display, beginning May 28th and concluding the evening of May 30, 2022.

The event is hosted by the City of Rochester, NH, and will be displayed at the Rochester Common, located on South Main Street.

Five hundred fifty flagpoles each flying a 3×5 ft. flag with a yellow ribbon and laminated card identifying the honored Veteran with their name, branch, and rank, along with the branch seal/patch graphically displayed on the card.

According to organizers, the display “is an unforgettable experience, hard to describe, but never to be forgotten.”

Organizers encourage members of the community to “take a moment to dedicate a flag to a Veteran of your choice or if you do not have a specific Veteran to honor, Vouchers for Veterans will select a fallen hero on your behalf.”

Vouchers for Veterans have identified Veterans who have given their lives serving their country with a small black cross on their placard.

A limited number of flags are available. All sales end May 15, 2022, or when sold out. To pay by mail, click here to download a printable order form. Click here to dedicate a flag online.
