May 31 is the last day to CHANGE YOUR PARTY AFFILIATION prior to Primary Election

May 31, 2022, is the last day to CHANGE YOUR PARTY AFFILIATION prior to the upcoming filing period and Primary Election (September 13, 2022)

The filing period for candidates wishing to file for the State Primary will run from June 1, 2022, beginning at 8:00 AM, through June 10, 2022, at 5:00 PM. Location and Contact Information is listed in the header of this advertisement.

Registered voters of Rochester, New Hampshire, may file for the following offices in the City Clerk’s office.

  • State Representative [$2 or 5 Primary Petitions]
  • Delegate to the Republican State Convention

The following candidates must file for office through the State of New Hampshire, Secretary of State’s office in Concord, New Hampshire:

Governor, U.S. Senate, Representative to the U.S. Congress, Executive Council, State Senate, County Commissioner, Register of Probate, County Sheriff, Register of Deeds, County Attorney, County Treasurer

The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session for corrections of the Checklist on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, between 7:00 – 7:30 PM [minimum requirement] and, at the discretion of the supervisors for extended hours. This is the last day for all voters to change their party affiliation until after the September 13, 2022, State Primary Election. 

In addition, for those running for office, this is the last day to submit other changes to voter registrations (name/address), prior to the Filing Period for all Offices for the State Primary Election. RSA 659:12. RSA 654:8, II.
