Rochester Main Street to celebrate ‘A Downtown Christmas’

Published on

Rochester Main Street is pleased to announce a series of upcoming downtown events planned to celebrate the holiday season.

According to board member Jeff Bisson, the organization wants to help spread the word in order to encourage residents and visitors to patronize downtown businesses before and after the events.

“Various groups are hosting a variety of Christmas events in December and we want to make sure everyone is aware,” said Bisson. “Hopefully people will stop into our shops and restaurants while they’re visiting downtown. Our businesses have a lot to offer!”

In addition to the events, the Public Works Department is erecting the downtown Christmas Tree on the morning of Wednesday, November 16th. Some decorations have already been installed throughout the city.
