Be SMART about Gun Safety in the home, Library to host event on 9/11/2024

Published on

The Rochester Public Library invites the community to attend a brief presentation on home gun safety on September 11, starting at 6:30 pm.

The Be SMART campaign, launched in 2015, promotes responsible gun ownership to reduce child gun deaths. This initiative encourages everyone—whether you’re a gun owner or know someone who owns a gun—to engage in the conversation about secure gun storage. The Be SMART framework provides guidance for parents, caretakers, and community leaders to enhance safety in our communities.
