Beat the Heat: City Hall and Public Library open for cooling during business hours

With high temperatures forecasted for the next several days, the City of Rochester encourages residents to utilize the Public Library and City Hall for cooling, during regular business hours.

Health officials say high heat and humidity can lead to serious health problems. To help your body cope with high temperatures, take steps to stay cool, increase your fluid intake, decrease your activities, and wear appropriate clothing.

City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Public Library is open Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
