Cinco’s Cantina Supports Rochester Main Street with Generous Donation

Cinco’s Cantina, a family-owned Mexican restaurant with locations in Rochester, Dover, and Epping, has demonstrated its commitment to community growth by donating $1,000 to the Rochester Main Street Program. This contribution will directly support initiatives aimed at enhancing downtown development, preserving local heritage, and boosting small businesses in the area.

The funds were raised from a portion of the sales during Cinco’s soft opening celebration at its new Rochester location on August 30, 2024. The event, designed to test the restaurant’s operations, menu, customer service, and atmosphere, invited a limited number of friends and family to dine in and enjoy the experience.

“We want to start our journey in Rochester by giving back to the community right from the beginning,” said Crescencio Tellez, co-founder and co-owner of Cinco’s Cantina. The donation will be used to help other downtown businesses make façade improvements. “Partnering with Rochester Main Street allows us to contribute to projects that make Rochester’s downtown more vibrant and prosperous for everyone,” continued Tellez.

Jeff Bisson, a representative from Rochester Main Street, emphasized the impact of local business support: “Support from businesses like Cinco’s is crucial to our success. This generous gift will allow us to continue improving our downtown area, making it a place where businesses thrive and residents feel proud to call home.”

Family-owned and operated, Cinco’s Cantina is celebrated for its authentic Mexican cuisine and community engagement, hosting Fiesta Fundraisers, philanthropic donations, and weekly dine-in and take-out promotions.
