The City of Rochester is pleased to announce a major update to The Rochester Post mobile app, now available in the Apple App Store.
The app continues to feature top stories, public media, regional news from the State of New Hampshire, and a chronological feed of recent posts. It serves as a centralized, no-cost hub for municipal news releases, community happenings, public meetings and hearings, and important updates from the City of Rochester.
According to the City’s Public Information Manager, Matt Wyatt, the app is designed to “make public information more accessible and encourage community engagement.”
Version 1.6 introduces a streamlined design and intuitive user interface, featuring a completely refreshed layout with several enhancements to improve user experience. Major updates include an all-new on-demand radio feature, a five-day weather forecast with current conditions, faster performance, and improved search and browsing.
The app remains lightweight at just 35.3 MB, utilizing minimal space on users’ devices. To download, search the Apple App Store for “The Rochester Post.” The app is available for iPhone devices running iOS 15.1 or later, Mac devices running macOS 12.0 or later with an Apple M1 chip or newer, and Apple Vision devices running visionOS 1.0 or later.
