The Rochester Public Library Teen Room invites teens to join art teacher Marcey Buchakjian for a fun and creative art project to kick off the summer.
The event will take place on Wednesday, July 10th, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring magazines, photos, candy wrappers, special notes, cards, and their imagination.
The library will provide sturdy Bristol board, drawing materials, magazines, and tools for layering and collaging summer hopes and dreams.
This special event is part of the ongoing drop-in programs available in the Teen Room throughout the summer. For a complete schedule and more information, visit www.rpl.lib.nh.us/teens.
Additionally, the Teen Summer Reading program is in full swing. Teens can sign up anytime, log their reading minutes, and earn exciting prizes such as free advanced copy books and ice cream from Golicks.
“We are thrilled to see so many teens enjoying the new space,” expressed Amy Lemelin, Teen Librarian. “We have book titles for all interest levels and new ones being added every day.”
