Dodge Street Water Service to Be Temporarily Interrupted for Valve Replacement

The Department of Public Works will temporarily shut off water service on Dodge Street on Wednesday, November 12, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., to complete a gate valve replacement.

During this time, Dodge Street will be closed from Rochester Hill Road to Preston Street. Residents and emergency vehicles will be allowed access.

Customers in the affected area may experience little or no water pressure during the shutdown. Once service is restored, some air or discoloration may occur due to naturally occurring minerals in the water lines. If this happens, residents are advised to run a cold water tap for a short time to clear the water.

For questions or concerns, contact DPW at (603) 332-4096.
