Downtown vandalism on the rise, Police offer cash rewards to credible tipsters

According to the Rochester Police Department, spray paint vandalism is on the rise in the downtown area.

Police are encouraging residents and business owners to review surveillance footage that may have captured suspicious activity in the area. Some vandalism includes the words, SOLO, SLIK, TIEG, VELL, STEM, and SHO to name a few.

If you have seen anyone suspicious in the area or have credible information pertaining to downtown vandalism, please contact the Rochester Police Department at (603) 330-7128.

Tipsters can also anonymously provide information by calling the Rochester Crime Line at (603) 335-6500 or by texting TEXT4CASH (and information) to CRIMES (274637). Cash rewards are offered for information that leads to an arrest.
