Embrace Cozy Family Fun with the “Hygge Family Journey” at Rochester Public Library

Published on

The Children’s Room at the Rochester Public Library invites families to participate in the “Hygge Family Journey” through February 28.

Hygge (pronounced hoog-uh) is a Danish word that describes the feeling of coziness, contentment, and sense of well-being brought on by taking pleasure in simple, gentle comforts while fostering positive social interactions and togetherness.

Sign up at the Children’s Desk, get your starter kit, and choose your team name. Families will receive an activity sheet with 30 family-centered activities to complete by the end of February. Each activity will be stickered when completed.

Return your completed activity sheet for a chance to win a fun family raffle basket.

For general inquiries and additional information, contact the Children’s Room at (603) 335-7549 or visit www.rpl.lib.nh.us/children.
