Explore the Wilderness through Words and Images: John Doelman presents “Quetico Connection” at the Public Library

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to announce an upcoming event featuring John Doelman, author and wilderness enthusiast, as he presents his latest book, “Quetico Connection.”

This presentation takes the audience on a journey through introspective poetry and captivating photography, inspired by a lifetime of wilderness canoe tripping.

Doelman’s “Quetico Connection” offers a glimpse into his personal experiences gained from decades of venturing into the untamed wilderness. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast, a poetry lover, or simply curious about the beauty of the natural world, this event has something special in store for everyone.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions, allowing the audience to learn more about Doelman’s inspiring journey as a writer and a wilderness explorer.

The event will take place at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, August 2nd, in the Community Room, at the Rochester Public Library, 65 South Main Street. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
