Free Summer Music Series returns to the Rochester Common starting 7/12

Rochester Rec & Arena is pleased to announce the return of Concert on the Common, a free, outdoor summer music series held weekly at the Rochester Common.

According to staff, the series boasts an exceptional array of musicians ready to perform original songs, all-time favorites, and those enduring classics that appeal to people of all ages.

“This year we will be featuring more bands from Rochester and the surrounding area than ever before,” said Nicole Lee, Rochester Rec & Arena. “The series includes local favorites such as The Cameron Drive Project and North River Music.”

Concerts will be held on Wednesdays from July 12th to August 30th. Please note, in July, concerts will be held from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. In August, 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their own chair, blanket, etc.

In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to the following Thursday, if possible. Cancellations and updates will be posted to rec.rochesternh.gov, Facebook (Rochester NH Recreation & Arena), and Instagram (rochester_rec).

Visit rec.rochesternh.gov for a full list of performances, as well as links to listen to the performers’ music. For more information, contact Nicole Lee at nicole.lee@rochesternh.gov or call (603) 332-4120.
