Hope on Haven Hill is pleased to announce the successful completion of its Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) Tax Credit campaign. In total, 23 businesses generously donated $500,000 to the campaign, which provides tax credits to companies who make charitable contributions through the program.
“We are thrilled to share that through the generosity of so many local and statewide businesses, we have been able to reach our goal, and have secured a total of $500,000 in pledges through the CDFA Tax Credit Program,” states Kerry Norton, HHH Executive Director.

Hope on Haven Hill is in the midst of a $3.5 million capital campaign, to raise the funds needed to construct the agency’s 8,000 square foot Center for Hope and Wellness in Rochester. Funds received through the CDFA Tax Credit Program are critical to these fundraising efforts. Once constructed, the ‘Center for Hope and Wellness’ will become a hub for families in recovery, offering treatment and wellness programs, workplace training, childcare for parents in agency programs, and community space for a range of health and learning programs.
“The donations we received through the CDFA Tax Credit Program have helped to push our capital campaign over the $3 million mark. This is a tremendous boost for our fundraising efforts,” said Norton. “We are so grateful for the generous support of our vision is to build a place where women with substance use disorder can access resources and find a community that supports their recovery journey.”
Hope on Haven Hill is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to provide a place where pregnant, post-partum and parenting women living in poverty and battling substance use disorder can access residential and outpatient treatment, recovery support, and recovery housing.
CDFA’s Tax Credit Program is a competitive community and economic development investment program that awards approximately $5 million in tax credits annually. The program aims to support organizations that are engaged in community economic development initiatives that show a high degree of community support, build partnerships, and leverage other resources.
