Hope on Haven Hill Hosts Successful Community Outreach Event

Hope on Haven Hill hosted a community outreach event on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the parking lot of the Center for Hope and Wellness on Charles Street.

The event featured free car seat safety checks provided by certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians from the organization, who replaced three car seats that were either expired or unsuitable for the child’s age or size. Educational materials on child passenger safety were also distributed to attendees.

In addition to the car seat checks, community members had access to a wide array of free resources for families, including:

  • Diapers in all sizes, baby wipes, toys, food, and children’s clothing
  • Shoes, clothing, and accessories for women
  • Harm reduction resources, offered in collaboration with SOS Recovery

It was so wonderful to be able to provide this education and support to Rochester Community Members,” said Gabriella Straube, Associate Director. We are excited to be offering more of these events this summer and collaborating with local agencies to expand the resources we can offer.”
