The Rochester Public Library will showcase the work of local artist Jackie Hanson throughout September.
Raised in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, Jackie grew up surrounded by art, creativity, and the natural beauty of New England—lakes, mountains, farms, and seaside day trips—all of which continue to inspire her work today. Using a variety of media, she explores the dynamic relationship between nature and humanity, capturing moments where the two are both in harmony and in contrast.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the library’s main floor to view her artwork. The Rochester Public Library is located at 65 South Main Street, in downtown Rochester.
