Municipal Offices CLOSED on Independence Day, Trash/Recycling Delayed, Fireworks scheduled for 7/8

In observance of Independence Day, Municipal Offices, the Public Library, and Recreation Department will be closed. Regular hours of operation will resume on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

Trash and recycling pick-up will be delayed by one day starting Tuesday, July 4, 2023. The Tuesday route will run on Wednesday and each day thereafter will be delayed by one day. The week will finish with Friday’s route being picked up on Saturday. For questions, contact the Public Works Department at (603) 332-4096.

The Lilac Family Fun Festival and Fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 8, from 4-9 pm, at the Spaulding High School Football Field. There will be FREE kiddie carnival rides for young children, games, food trucks, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and live entertainment. Best of all, the night concludes with the best fireworks show in New Hampshire. (Rain date: Sunday, July 9 from 4-9 pm) Visit www.rochesternh.gov/fun for more information.
