Police investigating hit-and-run incident, pedestrian struck on South Main Street

At approximately 6:30 pm on March 9th, 2023, the Rochester Police Department began investigating a reported hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian.

It was reported that an adult male was struck by a vehicle on South Main Street near the intersection of Franklin Street, resulting in injuries. The vehicle that struck the male was reported to be a van operated by a heavy-set female. There were believed to have been witnesses, as other vehicles were reportedly stopped in the area.
