UPDATED: Victim identified as Kimberly Lucier of Rochester, succumbs to injuries on 6/5

UPDATE – June 5, 2023:

The involved female has been identified as 60-year-old Kimberly Lucier of Rochester. Sadly, Lucier did not survive and succumbed to her injuries on June 5, 2023. The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information or who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department.

On June 2, 2033, at approximately 10:22 PM, Rochester Police responded to Milton Rd in the area of the Hannaford’s store for a report of a person on the ground near the roadway.

Officers located an unidentified female unconscious and with a head injury on the ground beside the northbound side of Milton Road. The initial investigation revealed that the female had been walking northbound along Milton Rd, pushing an unoccupied baby stroller when she was struck from behind by a vehicle that was traveling north on Milton Rd. The vehicle that apparently struck the female was not on scene.

Frisbie Memorial Hospital EMS transported the female to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for serious injuries. The identity of the female remains unknown. She was wearing a purple shirt, blue sweatshirt, white pants, and black shoes.

The identity of the driver of the vehicle also remains unknown at this time. Damage to the vehicle is expected to be mostly on the front passenger’s side, with potential damage to the hood and windshield.

Anyone with information on the identity of the victim, or the vehicle and driver that fled the scene, is urged to contact the Rochester Police Department.
