Public Library presents works by accomplished local artist Karen Busch Holman

The Rochester Public Library is pleased to present the work of artist and children’s book illustrator Karen Busch Holman during the month of June on the First Floor of the Library.

Karen Busch Holman is an accomplished illustrator and designer whose work spans children’s literature, educational publications, public murals, and fine art exhibitions. She has illustrated over 20 children’s books, including the Tales of Tickety Boo series and G is for Granite, and contributed to publications like The Wisdom of Small Farms and Preserving Old Barns.

Her illustrations have been featured in exhibitions across the Northeast, and she has received national recognition, including a Ford Foundation Grant and awards for design excellence.

Holman’s public commissions include murals for the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire and a commemorative coin for Concord, NH. She has also reached over 15,000 students as a visiting illustrator and guest lecturer.
