Rochester Rewind is a monthly aggregate featuring video highlights from televised public meetings. The purpose is to better connect residents and business owners to the monthly operations of municipal government.

Rochester Rewind is not intended to be inclusive of all business conducted by City Council, land use boards, and other committees. The State of New Hampshire recognizes the meeting minutes as the official record. Meeting minutes can be found by clicking here.

Meeting Highlights: Oath of Office: Promotions: Deputy Chief: Jason Thomas, Captain: Andrew Swanberry, Lieutenant: Michael Miehle, and Sergeant: William Robinson. Also included was the election of Chair and Vice-Chair, Monthly Reports from Operations and Administration.

City Council – 1/11/22

Meeting Highlights: City Manager’s Report, Communications from the Mayor, Mayoral Appointments of Subcommittees, Creation of Special joint committee of the School Board and City Council, Correspondence from Public Health Network, Nominations, Appointments, Resignations, Reports of Committees, Resolution for Supplemental Appropriation of $422,805 to Department of Public Works (DPW) Sewer CIP Fund, and Non-Public Session.

Zoning Board of Adjustment – 1/12/22
Meeting Agenda 
Meeting Highlights: Items included several cases for special exceptions and variances. Please see the agenda or video for further details. Agenda items included: Continued Cases: Variance construction of a shed within the 10-foot setback, Special Exception from to permit vehicle service,  Variance to permit the construction of an Electric Charging Station with the installation of six (6) charging units and appropriate lighting, and Election of Officers.

School Board – 1/13/22

The Codes & Ordinances Committee, Public Works & Buildings Committee, and the Planning Board Workshop were not held in January 2022.
