At 11:13 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, Rochester Police and Frisbie EMS responded to the area of Amazon Campground off Whitehouse Road for a report of a male who had been stabbed.

Upon arrival, first responders located a male suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. The male was transported to Portsmouth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Through the course of the investigation, it was learned that the victim had gotten into an argument with another male. The argument escalated, leading to the stabbing. Both parties were known to one another. The other involved male remained on scene and was ultimately arrested.

Jeremy Brown, 51, of Rochester, New Hampshire, was arrested on three counts of 1st Degree Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Brown is scheduled to be arraigned on February 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the 7th Circuit District Court in Rochester.
