Rochester Mental Health Alliance Announces Suicide Prevention Trainings

Published on

The Rochester Mental Health Alliance is pleased to announce the availability of free suicide prevention training sessions through NAMI NH Connect and Connor’s Climb Foundation.

These training workshops are open to anyone 18 or older from Rochester and nearby communities. They provide participants with the skills to recognize signs of suicidal ideation and intervene to help prevent suicide.

Led by certified trainers, the sessions will be held at the Rochester Public Library. Participants can choose from various training dates provided by either NAMI NH Connect or Connor’s Climb Foundation. Participants are encouraged to select one session based on their availability. Attending all sessions is not required.

“These trainings are crucial for increasing awareness and providing the community with the tools they need to help others in crisis,” said Kathy Michaud of the Rochester Mental Health Alliance. “We hope community members will take advantage of this opportunity to learn how they can make a difference.”

Upcoming Sessions:

  • March 7, 2025 (9:00 am to 11:00 am)
  • March 28, 2025 (9:00 am to 11:00 am)
