Rochester Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Walgreens

Published on

On Thursday, February 13, 2025, at approximately 3:22 am, officers from the Rochester Police Department responded to Walgreens, located at 104 South Main Street, for a report of an armed robbery at the pharmacy.

According to reports, a male suspect handed the pharmacist a note claiming to have a firearm and demanding prescription drugs. During the incident, the suspect partially brandished the firearm. He fled the scene before police arrived, taking an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs. The suspect was last seen leaving the store in the direction of Winter Street and may still be armed. No injuries were reported.

Rochester Police deployed a K-9 unit to track the suspect, but the search ended nearby. It is possible that the suspect left the area in a vehicle. A white SUV-style vehicle was seen parked in the area at the time, though its connection to the incident is unknown.

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately six feet tall with an average build. He was wearing a black face mask, a black puffy jacket with a hood, black jean-style pants, a black hat, dark-colored shoes, and work gloves.

Anyone with information that may assist in the investigation is encouraged to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128. Anonymous tips can be provided through the Rochester Crime Line at 603-335-6500. Cash rewards are offered for information leading to an arrest.
