The Rochester Public Library invites community members to attend Restful Nights: A Mindfulness-Based Sleep Workshop on Tuesday, August 5th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Community Room.
Quality sleep plays a vital role in maintaining mental health, yet many individuals struggle with getting the rest they need. This engaging workshop, led by Anja Schneider of Salt Air Spirit, offers participants practical techniques to support deeper, more restorative sleep. Attendees will explore mindfulness practices including relaxation techniques, breathwork, and calming evening routines designed to ease the mind and body.
Anja Schneider is a certified life coach and experienced instructor in Yoga, QiGong, and Instinctive Meditation. Her holistic approach to well-being helps individuals reconnect with their inner calm. More about her work can be found at saltairspirit.com.
“Everyone can gain from participating in this program, as there is always an opportunity to enhance our sleep quality and nighttime routines,” said Abby Rosselli, Programming Librarian. “I hope this brings in a lot of community members, and I look forward to seeing the outcome!”
This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. The Community Room is located on the second floor of the Rochester Public Library, 65 South Main Street.
