Rochester Writers Night, the Lilac City’s monthly literary salon, will be hosting its second annual Rochester Authors Fair on Saturday, April 26th from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Rochester Public Library. The event will be held in the Community Room on the second floor and is free to attend.
The event will feature live readings from regional independent and traditionally published authors, panel discussions on the writing craft, and free book signings. This year’s headlining author is horror writer Gregory Bastianelli, whose work has been described by Publisher’s Weekly as a “dark disturbing treat” and by Horrownews.net as the “messiah of macabre.” Bastianelli graduated from the University of New Hampshire where he studied writing, and he currently lives in Dover, New Hampshire.
Mr. Bastianelli’s latest novel, October, was released this past autumn through Flame Tree Press. Set in Maplewood, New Hampshire, in the 1970s, this novel is available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Water Street Books, and other fine retailers.
“We’re thrilled to have Mr. Bastianelli join us this year as our headlining author,” said Rochester Writers Night facilitator Julian Long. “The fair promises to be a great afternoon of programming for all book lovers, whether you’re a writer, a reader, or both.”
