Rochester Rotary donates $3k to Rochester Child Care Center to help low income families

Published on

The Rochester Rotary Club is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors enthusiastically approved a $3k grant to support Rochester Child Care Center (RCCC).

RCCC will utilize the funds to assist low-income families in need of childcare support. Since many of the families are headed by single-parent households, this contribution will positively impact the ability of parents to continue working, while offering an early childhood learning environment that is safe, positive, and structured.

According to Rochester Rotary President Josh Dame, the request “scored highly” and the grant was presented to the full board for approval.

“The grant request received unanimous approval from the board,” said Dame. “As a club, we’re thrilled to have provided a cumulative $7k in support of Rochester Child Care Center.”

Rochester Rotary is the service organization of choice for the area’s business and civic leaders — where they meet, network, and combine their passion, energy, and talents to serve children and youth in the community. To learn more, visit www.rochesterrotary.org.
