Rochester Rotary Launches Halloween Costume Donation Drive for Local Families

Published on

Rochester Rotary, in collaboration with Rochester Main Street and SCARE NH, is pleased to announce its annual Halloween Costume Donation Drive aimed at providing free costumes to local families.

On October 7th, between 1:00 and 4:00 pm, in Central Square during the Pumpkin Patch event hosted by Rochester Main Street, Rochester Rotary will be collecting new and gently used Halloween costumes. These costumes will be donated to SCARE NH, a local organization dedicated to providing gently used Halloween costumes to families in need.

SCARE NH will host two costume drives in Rochester, the first on October 12th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Rochester Rec Department, with the second drive taking place on October 21st from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the YMCA. Families are encouraged to attend these events to select costumes for their children.

Joscelyn Hutchison, a representative from Rochester Rotary, expressed the club’s mission, saying, “Our goal is to make Halloween special for every child in our community, regardless of their circumstances. We want to bring smiles and excitement to the faces of local families during this festive season.”

For more information about the Halloween Costume Donation Drive and to inquire about donations or volunteer opportunities, please contact Joscelyn Hutchison at (603) 432-3883 ext 2. To contact SCARE NH, email moniquepierce@scarenh@gmail.com.
