Rochester Students participate in RYFL Jamboree, Opening Ceremonies

Published on

On a sunny Sunday morning at Roger Allen Park, Spaulding High School students played a significant role in the opening ceremonies of the Rochester Youth Football League Jamboree. The beautiful weather set the stage for a day of celebration, community, and teamwork—a perfect backdrop to showcase the talents of these young individuals.

As the ceremonies began, Noah Pinkham, Emmaline Morin, and Serena Takekoshi were recognized for their outstanding work in creating vibrant murals on the Cook Shack building at the field. Their artistic contributions have added a colorful and meaningful touch to the space, reflecting the spirit of the RYFL and the community’s pride in its youth.

The ceremonies continued with a rendition of the national anthem, performed by Spaulding High students Violet Nelson, Anastasia Knutsen, Nicholas Kanelos III, and Mary Scott. Their harmonious voices filled the air and energized both players and spectators for the games ahead.

The involvement of Spaulding High School students in the event’s opening ceremonies is a testament to the strong connection between the school and the greater Rochester community. Their talents not only enhanced the event but also showcased the diverse abilities of the district’s student body.

The Rochester School Department wishes all RYFL athletes, coaches, and families the best of luck this season!
