Secretary of State Reminds Corporations and LLCs to File Annual Reports by 4/1

Secretary of State David Scanlan reminds all corporations or LLCs registered in New Hampshire that annual reports must be filed with the Corporations Division by April 1, 2025.

Businesses that fail to file by the deadline must pay a $50 late fee and submit their reports to return to “Good Standing” status. It costs $100 to file an annual report with the Corporations Division.

The easiest way to file is online through the Secretary of State’s QuickStart dashboard. Businesses that do not need to update any information can use the “One Click” option. Filing online saves time and ensures the Corporations Division has adequate time to process and update filings.

The Corporations Division also accepts annual reports sent by mail or delivered in person at its office on 28 School Street in Concord, NH. However, businesses filing by mail or in person must first request a form from the Corporations Division. Annual reports sent by mail must be postmarked by April 1, 2025, to meet the deadline.

There are over 150,000 businesses registered in New Hampshire, and more than 90 percent of them file their annual reports online.
