UPDATE: Sewer rehabilitation work will continue from April 12 through April 16, 2026, with overnight work scheduled on several streets as part of the Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining process. Crews will work on North Main Street on April 12, Wakefield Street on April 13, South Main Street on April 14, Columbus Avenue on April 15, and Liberty Street on April 16. Additional work on sections of South Main Street is anticipated the following week, with dates to be determined. This schedule is subject to change.

The City of Rochester has contracted National Water Main Cleaning Company (NWMCC) to perform sewer rehabilitation at various locations throughout the City.

As work progresses, residents and businesses directly affected will receive advisory notices in advance. These notices will include important information about the rehabilitation process, temporary service disruptions, parking restrictions (if applicable), and when sewer service will be reinstated.

During this work, residents may experience a temporary loss of sewer service, typically lasting several hours. Advisory notices will also provide clear instructions on how to prepare, as well as contact information for NWMCC staff who can assist with any questions or concerns.

The City appreciates your cooperation and patience as this project is completed to improve the reliability and performance of the sewer system.

For questions, please refer to the contact information included in the advisory notices provided by NWMCC.
