This March, Spaulding Music and Performing Arts proudly presents its production of Frozen the Broadway Musical. Running from March 18 through March 22, the production features a company of nearly 100 Spaulding High School students involved in the cast, crew, and pit band.

Based on the Academy Award-winning film, the musical tells the story of Princesses Anna and Elsa. Growing up isolated within their castle walls, the sisters become increasingly distant until Elsa’s hidden magical powers are accidentally revealed during her coronation. As a “ferocious winter” grips the kingdom, Anna embarks on an epic quest to bring her sister home, aided by the rugged ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and the beloved, sun-loving snowman Olaf.

“Almost 100 students of Spaulding High School are involved in this production, and they are so excited to bring this story to life,” said Nikki Luciano-Bourgeois, Director. “These characters are so fun to watch come to life on stage! Join us for an incredible show with amazing music, fun magic, and awesome puppets!”

The roles of Anna and Elsa will be shared by Violet Nelson and Mollie Pedersen (Anna) and Hannah Breton and Zsofia Perron (Elsa), while Nicholas Kanelos III and Christopher Letellier will alternate the roles of Hans and Kristoff. Audiences will also enjoy puppet performances by Cahlen Comfort and Shamus Couture as Olaf, Skylar Chesley as Sven, along with an ensemble of more than 40 students.
