StoryTime and Touch-a-Truck Returns 10/9 at Public Works Facility

Published on

In collaboration with the Department of Public Works (DPW), the Children’s Room at the Rochester Public Library invites children and families to StoryTime and Touch-a-Truck on Wednesday, October 9, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at the Department of Public Works.

A truck-themed StoryTime will kick off in the DPW conference room, followed by an exciting opportunity for children up to age 6 and their families to explore vehicles, sit in the driver’s seats, and even honk the horns in the garage.

“The Library is always looking for ways to expand the scope of Storytime. Collaborating with the DPW to present this program is a great way to do this,” said Christina Paquette, Children’s Librarian. “When considering locations for off-site events, the Department of Public Works makes perfect sense. Kids love big trucks!”

All are welcome to attend. For additional details and updates, visit www.rpl.lib.nh.us/children. The Department of Public Works is located at 209 Chestnut Hill Road.
