Temporary Closure of Recreation Main Entrance at James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, Patrons Asked to Use Entrance A

The Rochester Recreation Department is notifying the public of a temporary entrance closure at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center.

Entrance B (the Recreation Main Entrance) will be closed for concrete construction work from Thursday, September 11, through Sunday, September 21, with an anticipated reopening on Monday, September 22.

While Community Way and the parking lot are expected to remain open, patrons are asked to be mindful of work crews and trucks. The timeline is subject to change depending on project progress.

All programs are expected to continue as scheduled. Participants are advised to use Entrance A, which faces Wakefield Street. Those who typically use Entrance C (such as participants in 50+ Line Dancing or 55+ Bingo) may continue to do so; however, most patrons are encouraged to enter through Entrance A.

Questions regarding parking or building access can be directed to the Rochester Recreation Department at (603) 332-4120.
