WATCH: City Council Commends Rochester Slammers 8U Softball Team for Undefeated Season and Championship Victory

On Tuesday, August 20, during the Rochester City Council meeting, Mayor Paul Callaghan celebrated the Rochester Slammers 8U softball team with an official commendation for their extraordinary achievements this season, highlighting their 42-0 record.

City Council members welcomed the players and coaches as the Mayor read the commendation and presented each player with a signed copy. In return, the team gifted Mayor Callaghan a Slammers t-shirt, which he wore for the remainder of the meeting.

“I am immensely proud to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Rochester Slammers 8U softball team for their extraordinary achievements this season,” said Mayor Callaghan. “Winning both the New Hampshire State Championship and the New England Regional Championship is a testament to their unwavering dedication, exceptional skill, and remarkable teamwork.”
