Published on

The First United Methodist Church, in partnership with Rochester Main Street, is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Community Photography Show, to be held on May 10, 2023, at Rochester First United Methodist Church located at 34 South Main Street. The event is open to all and will start at 7:00 pm and end at 8:30 pm.

The purpose of the event is to give amateur photographers an opportunity to share their photographs and provide an evening of great photography, light refreshments, and good company for the community. The event is free, however, donations will be accepted for those who wish to make a contribution.

Photographers are encouraged to complete an entry form to enter the contest, which can be found on the church’s website (www.firstumcrochester.org) under photography and on Facebook. For more information or questions about the event, contact Photography Show Coordinator Cindy Edgerly, at Grandmaedgerly@gmail.com.

The Rochester First United Methodist Church and Rochester Main Street are the proud sponsors of this community event. Generous local businesses have donated prizes, including first and second-place ribbons and prizes in each category, three judges’ favorites, Best of Show, and People’s Choice awards. Following the awards, the judges will give creative hints to individuals looking to improve their craft.
