A message from the Rochester Opera House, a local 501c3 nonprofit organization:
2026 Takes Center Stage Here at The Rochester Opera House!
It’s the 25th anniversary of the Murder Mystery here at the Rochester Opera House, and we’re celebrating!
With previous themes such as dancing competitions, shows, circus, campgrounds, and puppets, we now bring you The Mystery of the Murder at the ‘Musement Park or The Mystery of the Murder at Walt Chester World – A Musical Comedy Murder Mystery.
It’s opening night at Strafford County’s newest and largest family amusement park. And no, this is not Story Land — we’re talking about Walt Chester World!
Tensions rise as city officials and design professionals fight for control of the park. Then (of course), someone dies, and you are left to solve Rochester’s latest mystery!
Join us for this irreverent, disrespectful, politically incorrect, and insulting piece of original theatre — but please do not join us if you are easily offended.
Returning as Dixon Decooter is Rochester Opera House’s very own Anthony Ejarque! What will his part be in all of this? You have from January 23 – February 28 to find out, so head to our website to get those tickets now.
