Published on

Did you know that the Rochester Police Department has a Police Cadet Post? The Rochester Police Department welcomes anyone between the ages of 14-20 to participate. Police Cadets meet bi-weekly throughout the school year to learn about many aspects of police work.

The classes give cadets a hands-on experience and a look into a career in law enforcement. Some topics include:

  • Traffic Stops
  • SWAT
  • Police Response to Domestic Violence
  • Police K-9’s
  • Evidence Collection
  • Firearms safety
  • Defensive Tactics
  • Interview and Interrogations
The Rochester Police Cadets will be hosting their first meeting on Monday, October 16th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the 2nd floor lecture hall at the Rochester Police Department. All are welcome to attend.
Please consider sharing this post to anyone who may be interested. For general inquiries and additional information, contact Detective Johnson or Detective Danie at (603) 330-7127.
