Bridging the Remote Learning Gap, a partnership between NH Libraries and Children’s Museum

Published on

The Rochester Public Library Children’s Room, in partnership with the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, is pleased to offer Bridging the Remote Learning Gap, a program geared toward supplementing school activities for at-home learners.

The program provides five months of project-based activity packages, starting in February and running through June 2021.

“We’re excited to offer this program to Rochester families,” said Marie Lejeune, Children’s Librarian. “The past year has been so hard on families. We hope that these activity packages will provide some stress-free fun!”

The activity packages, which are geared toward school-aged children and include a “how-to” video for children, a “how to help” video for adults, and written instructions.

Most project supplies are included in the packages. However, some items, like scissors or staplers, are not included.

50 activity packages will be available each month. Families interested in participating are encouraged to contact the Children’s Room, starting Monday, January 25.

For more information, please call the Rochester Public Library Children’s Room at (603) 335-7549.
